The View’s Joy Behar owes Sharron Angle an apology

The View crew is an interesting bunch of ladies. A couple of weeks ago Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off the stage because they were so offended by what Bill O’Reilly said. Behar said she stood in the face of hate, but why didn’t she stand against hate this morning? She couldn’t because she was the one spewing it. She called Republican Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle a “bitch”, and later she said Angle was going to hell. So what did her cohorts do they laughed and made small talk no one called her on. No one said it was a shame for one woman to refer to another with this slur. Behar should be reprimanded for her outburst. She has a right to disagree with the positions Angle takes on the issues but calling her a bitch crosses the line that too many people are crossing. A couple of weeks ago Behar was riding so very high on her moral high horse well today she fell into the gutter and she came up spewing garbage. Shame on you Joy!

CNN needs to wake up or be removed from TV as this station is becoming a threat to our national security. “My comment is awaiting moderation” before they will post it. Moderation for what?? Review by left-wing liberals who are making our country more and more vulnerable every day. It will be interesting to see if CNN posts my comment about left-winger Joy Behar who needs to be fired. It’s people like Joy and Obama who are weakening our country so it’s ripe for takeover by terriorist countries. I guess the left-wing liberals will finally get it when their freedom is nonexistant and then they can no longer make their idiotic comments, as they will then go unheard, and they will have no choice but to do as they are told! I’ve been watching CNN regularly for years but, one by one, their staff all turns hard-core left wing in a matter of time (Is this job security?). Nancy Grace is about all CNN has left with any common sense as she understands the minds of criminals who seem to be growing out-of-control in our country…meanwhile Joy and Obama aid them.

Cindy I have no problem posting your comment. Although I disagree with part of it it was rendered in a respectful manner. Let’s not compare apples to oranges. President Obama has nothing to do with Joy Behar’s rude remark. She was wrong and there are no gray areas about it. Let’s take the president to task on his issues, and this is not one of them.

I think she was saying that CNN is moderating her post. I’m not ebony, but will chime in and say boo to this silly old woman, Un-Joy, and her ridiculous rants.

Behar has found that if she’s rude, crude, and outrageous she will get attention in the news. She seems to be trying to take a page from Rosie O’Donnell… Behar saw the publicity that Rosie got for being so controversial on The View and Behar has been trying to be as controversial ever since Rosie left the show. Behar admitted on The View last year that she didn’t really care about the guests, she just wanted to make “good TV” and that she knew what it takes to do it.

Behar also admitted on her HLN show that she wants to make “good TV” when she had Elisabeth Hasselbeck as a guest on that show earlier this year. They were talking about the arguments they have on The View and Behar said to Elisabeth, “I don’t have any desire to change your opinions. Because IT MAKES GOOD TELEVISION FOR US TO ARGUE.” (I added the ALL CAPS)

Another example: Behar supposedly dislikes Anne Coulter and has been nasty to Coulter when Coulter has been a guest on The View. But on Behar’s HLN show earlier this year a guest asked Behar about Coulter. Behar said “I don`t mind her. She’s fine. IT’S SHOWBIZ.” (I added the ALL CAPS)

I try to take what Behar says with a grain of salt because I know that she has a motive for being so hateful… In her own words, she wants to “make good TV’. The more offensive she can be, the bigger the headlines for her. She told Shepard Smith yesterday on The View, “The bloggers love me”.

She loves the attention and it doesn’t matter who she hurts or offends in the process.

Does anyone really care what Joy or the “View” say about anything? It’s just a show who’s only concern is ratings. And guess what, we’re playing right into Joy’s hand just by the fact that we are blogging about it, it’s her goal. If you are tuning into the View to get your political news and opinions you’re in big trouble. Let me ask you this………….where is NOW (National Organization for Woman) on this? Kind of suspiciously silent don’t you think. Does the word Hypocracy come to mind?

I used to love to watch The View but now I pass by it very fast when “channel surfing”. When comedians stop entertaining me I stop watching. Just a quick note here Sharron Angle is not campaining in Arizona she is in Nevada.

Thanks Trisha I fixed it on the two posts I have written on Behar.

Joy Behar should be removed from TV PERIOD. She rants and raves like a spoiled child who can’t get her way, and even Barbara Walters can’t stand up to her. Behar thinks she is so powerful, when really she just shows how NOT to act, and her power,,,,well if that’s how you get power, let’s hope it doesn’t catch on. The world would be a horrible place to live if those who are truly in power acted like Joy Behar. Please take her off the air. She is a bad example to anyone watching, and I sure hope my children never come across the VIEW when Joy Behar is on. GROW UP JOY. YOU ARE INTOLERANT OF OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINIONS AND FEELINGS,,, and take a look at your face. You are quite obviously angry, very angry. You scowl and glare and really it’s unbecoming. Maybe we should start boycotting the View’s sponsors until they remove Behar. She ruins the mood, brooding and throwing a tantrum like a spoiled child.

Joy Behar is an execrable human being whose opprobrium is legendary. However, I would not want her to be cashiered because I find her so offensive. On the other hand, if her employer deems her behavior as inappropriate or inconsistent with the image they wish to portray, they should have the right to release her. If there is a market for her as a product then let them have it.

The idea of censorship in any venue causes me agita. I think it is only indicated in circumstances where the audience is captive such as in the classroom or the workplace. Trisha, in my opinion, exercises the appropriate response. She votes with her remote control and surfs right past The View.
