Heckler calls Sarah Palin a “whore”…Bristol Palin steps to him was she right?

Some say this was a set up for Bristol Palin’s reality show. Someone in the crowd screamed out that Sarah Palin was a “whore”. Bristol Palin stepped to the heckler and asked him why did he not like her mother. He gave a nonsense response and she questioned his sexuality. Was she wrong? Would you confront someone if they insulted your mother? Tell me what you think.

Bristol Palin’s “Memoir” takes a bite out the McCains

Sarah Palin and her entire family owe John McCain a debt that they will never be able to pay, but one thing they can do is stop talking about his family. Bristol Palin has written a memoir and please know I use this term loosely. What 20 year old do you know that has lived enough life to pen a memoir, but that is not the point of this post. The point is without John McCain we would not know Bristol Palin and she should not go after the man’s family. McCain is the one that unleashed the Palin brood on the lower 48. So his wife might walk around like she owns the world so what! “According to ABC, Palin writes that the first time she met Sen. John McCain’s daughter she “ignored us during the entire visit.” She also “had a sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back. Palin goes on to say “Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining,” Palin writes. “Oh the complaining.” Palin also criticized the senator’s wife and said she carried herself “like a queen” and held “herself like royalty.” So Bristol Palin takes her shots at the McCains, but by doing it she makes herself look bad not them.

Mike Huckabee what’s the difference between Bristol Palin and Natalie Portman?

Mike Huckabee had some harsh words for Oscar winner Natalie Portman. Huckabee said “People see a Natalie Portman who boasts, ‘We’re not married but we’re having these children and they’re doing just fine,” Huckabee told radio host Michael Medved on his show Monday. “I think it gives a distorted image. It’s unfortunate that we glorify and glamorize the idea of out-of- wedlock children.” During the 2008 presidential campaign we saw the Republicans praise unwed mother Bristol Palin. She was hailed for her brave choice. Portman can definately afford to take care of her child without government assistance so why the verbal chastisement. What is the difference here. One is praised and one is vilified. Tell me what you think.

Kathy Griffin Bombs with Bristol Palin Joke

Kathy Griffin learned the hard way that everyone does not hate the Palins. Griffin said during the VH1 salute to the troops that Bristol Palin was the first Dancing with the Stars contestant that actually gained weight in the course of the show cycle. She took it a step further by refering to Palin as the “white Precious”. She was booed by the troops. The joke was not funny. It was actually just mean, but mean is what Griffin does, and this time mean bombed. http://www.comcast.net/video/bristol-palin-vs-kathy-griffin/1687797137

Bristol Palin is Not Afraid to Speak Up

Facebook has provided a means for people to speak up immediately about issues, and I have got to tip my hat to Bristol Palin. She has spoken out against  Keith Olbermann after he attacked her on his show and she has spoken out against one of her fellow Dancing With the Stars contestants, Margaret Cho. Cho said in a blog that Sarah Palin pressured her daughter into being in the show. Palin fired back on Facebook and said the following , “I was somewhat taken aback to read about me in a blog by my friend and fellow contestant, Margaret Cho.  In a post she called “Pistol Whipped” she wrote that “the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it. Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly . . . for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she “owed” it to her to do DWTS . . . .”  Let me shamelessly steal from Saturday Night Live: “Really, Margaret? Really? I will give my friend credit for creativity, and extra points for getting so many “facts” wrong in so few sentences.  Let me be blunt: my mom did not “force” me to go on DWTS.  She did not ask me either.  The show approached me.  I thought about it.  I made the decision.  After first worrying for me in terms of being exposed to those who hate us for what we believe in, both my mom and my dad became my number one supporters.  Anyone who watched the show could tell I performed better, and I felt better about myself, when they were in the audience.  I wanted to make them both proud, but politics had nothing to do with it. Loving my parents had everything to do with it.” I give Palin credit for calling Cho out. Some would say the high road would be to ignore the detractors, but that some does not include the Palins. If you come at them be prepared for a fight because they don’t retreat. They reload.

Bristol Palin and The Situation have the Sex Talk

Bristol Palin preaches abstinence and The Situation prides himself in getting into sexual “situations”. So why would they be coupled in this PSA? Is this effective or just plain strange. Tell me what you think.

Why was Brandy voted off of Dancing with the Stars?

Simple she did not get enough votes. There is no Republican conspiracy afoot she just did not have the numbers to stay. I was driving this morning and listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show and many of their listeners were calling in to express their outrage over last night’s results. The outrage is not just Brandy getting the boot, but the fact that Bristol Palin is still on the show. Did everyone forget that Sarah Palin is Bristol’s mother?  Palin nation is obviously standing strong for Bristol in spite of the fact that the girl can’t dance. It’s a popularity contest. This is not about skill or grace, it is about numbers and if Palin wins they need to change the name to reflect the true nature of the game. Al Sharpton was also on the Tom Joyner show and he made an excellent point. He said people are outraged over Dancing with the Stars results, but where were these folks on November 2nd. Did they bother to vote in an election that had serious repercussions? Where was the outrage when they saw the results? That election was important and there was hardly a whimper but now people want to have a fit because Brandy went home before Bristol. I just wonder if the people expressing such outrage actually bothered to vote for Brandy or did they sit this one out too.

Bristol Palin Engaged…Maybe Sarah is Serious About 2012

This morning US Weekly revealed Bristol Palin is engaged to Levi Johnston. Why is this politically significant? Johnston has  spent the better part of the last year bad mouthing Sarah Palin and she has had some choice words to describe him. He apologized for his antics a couple of weeks ago and even admitted he lied. Now we are told there is again love in the air and Bristol and Levi will be getting married very soon. In the article they say they had kept Palin in the dark regarding their plans. This might be true but it sounds a little farfetched. it looks like Sarah Palin is getting the drama out of her house, and seriously considering a run in 2012.

Why is Bristol Palin on the cover of People magazine?

Today I received my People magazine and to my surprise Bristol Palin and her baby were on the front cover. Why is she on the cover? Should we celebrate the fact that she had a baby out of wedlock? Why is Bristol being celebrated? There are millions of girls in the same situation as Palin that are vilified for their choice to have a child, but Palin has become some kind of spokesperson for teen pregnancy. Palin says on the cover, “if girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex. Trust me nobody”. Why should we trust her we don’t know her, and frankly her 15 minutes need to come to a merciful end. Enough of this let’s move on and drop the double standard. Palin is plain and simply another sad statistic.

It Must be May Sweeps…Bristol Palin will be on the Today Show

While watching the nightly news I heard the promo for tomorrow’s Today Show. Bristol Palin will be on to talk about motherhood and teenage sex. Why would we want to see her? Does she have a new book or will she be offering some new parenting insight? No. She will be on for the sole reason that she is Sarah Palin’s daughter. Bristol’s “baby daddy” Levi Johnston has been making the rounds on the talk shows so now I guess it is her turn.  Why are we still listening to this? I can understand Johnston on the Tyra Show or even Jerry Springer, but for the Today Show to get in the midst of this clan war is a little disheartening. I expect more from them, but then it is May sweeps season, so nothing is off limits.
