Are Americans getting what they deserve this election season?

We have all heard that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton if they win their party nomination they will be the most unpopular nominees ever. How did we get hear? Why aren’t principled people seeking the highest office in the land? Who wouldn’t want ever part of their life dissected for the world to consume? Who wouldn’t want to be fodder for social media on a 24/7 basis? Who wouldn’t want every speech they had ever given to be checked for error? Who wouldn’t want all of their close relatives subjected to constant press inquiries? Who wouldn’t want their financials open to endless scrutiny? Sounds like a good time? No it’s not but it is the reality, and “it ain’t pretty.”. So it is no wonder that the two reference above might be the last two standing.

this whole process has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The GOP had-has-a deep bench of tried and tested governors, senators, business and thought leaders, and all we can manage to muster support for is a carnival barker who is about as presidential as a 5 year old. He is unfit to occupy George Washington’s chair. On the other side, we have a woman who has been PROVEN to be a liar, who will say whatever she must and do whatever she needs to “make history”. This experiment we are running is about to take a turn for the worse if ever one of these two gets into the Oval Office.
