I Do Not Feel the Bern and I Can’t Vote for Him

I am not a fan of Bernie Sanders fan. When I see him I think of the old men sitting in the orchestra pit of the original Muppets series complaining about everything. I just can’t see Sanders as the president. It is interesting that most of us regular people are forced to retire at 65, 70 if you need to, but this guy is asking for our vote and he will be 75 on Inauguration Day. The age issue is one, but the lack of foreign policy experience is also another problem. When he is questioned about it he says he voted against the Iraq war. OK and? The world is bigger than that and he stops there. I just don’t see it. Share your thoughts.

He’s a Democrat, and he’ll raise my taxes. He will spend, spend, spend. It’s that simple to me. 🙂

Foreign Policy isn’t his strong point,Hillary has him on that issue, but I can’t vote for that woman. I like Bernie’s stance about Wall Street. His age doesn’t worry me at all, I just like the guy and he seems genuine. I’m one of those voters that really wants to shake things up and turn away from the establishment. I also consider myself an Independent that socially leans to the Democrats, but fiscally I agree with the Republicans. Bernie may have this utopian vision that will cost us a lot of money, but the man isn’t a fake like Hillary. If she is the nominee, I’ll be voting Republican.

I’d love to see even a modicum of evidence that Hillary has an advantage on foreign policy over Sanders. Sure she held the position of Secretary of State but just occupying that position in and of itself has been no advantage. Have you taken note of our relationships around the world with enemies and allies alike? Take note that the middle east is on fire and Europe is in a state of financial and cultural collapse.

The problem with Sanders is that he is an admitted socialist and would be overt in implementing a socialist agenda as opposed to it being done now stealthily. Find an example anywhere in the world throughout history where it has resulted in prosperity for anyone other than the ruling class.
