Why is Jaden Smith the face of a women’s clothing line?

Black men are admonished for wearing hoodies or sagging pant, so why is it alright to put them in a dress? Is this high fashion or is this a fashion faux pas?

It’s just Jaden. I’m not offended by it. If he’s not hurting anyone then let him be, and if his parents are okay with it, so be it.

I was thinking about this the other day. Jaden is youngbut he is old enough to wear what he wants. and he wants to be different, YSL wants to go with the money, and there are a lot of young people out there who are trying to be different in various ways. Men have worn togas, silk stockings, wigs, pirates wore earrings. At one time it was scandalous if women wore pants. And don’t forget Kilts are seen as being very manly. Frankly, I think Jayden may regret this as he gets older, but then again maybe not. This is how I relate: I used to work in a construction trailer, there were two bathrooms, one had a picture of a woman in a dress, and one had a picture of a man in pants-I decided that just because I was a woman, that didn’t mean I “had” to have on a dress to be a woman, so I had my ten year old grandson draw a picture of what he thought a woman looked like and I hung it on the door of the ladies bathroom. The lady in the picture had on what looked like a dress, but one of her legs was bent backwards and stuck out to the side, her hair looked like spikes and she had one little eye and one big eye. Hilarious!!
