Jim Bob Duggar failed to report for 1 year that his son Josh was a child molester

The Duggar family portray old fashioned family values on their TLC show. They are Christian and hard core right wingers. Father Jim Bob is the head of his family and in that role he rules the roost, but he is not the law. In Touch magazine is reporting that their oldest son Josh confessed to molesting his sisters and another girl. He is now 27 and these acts happened when he was 14. His father did not report the crime for an entire year and when he did report it it was done to a family friend who is in law enforcement. The Duggars say they prayed and God has forgiven him. I believe He has, but Grace is given by God, but when you molest a child you break man’s law and your punishment should not be determined by your dad even if he is Jim Bob Duggar.

Sorry, I really don’t call a 13 year old adolescent who sneaks and tried to feel a female adolescent’s breasts a child molester. He’s a kid being raised in a conservative environment trying to deal with his hormones and curiosity.

Their lifestyle is not for me, but I think the media attention is shameful. He was 13 and 14. God forbid someone go back 30 years and tell the media I played doctor with Jimmy when I was 12.

He fondled sleeping girls and touched them inappropriately. that’s not playing doctor. Playing doctor was done by consenting participants. Not sleeping girls who woke up to find a 14 yr old boy hovering over them.

The Duggars have a lot of apologising to do. How about the lies and slander the Mrs. hurls out against transgender and gay people? If they admit to past mistakes, let’s make sure they apologise for all of them. Not to Jesus, but to us.
