Who is advising Ben Carson?

Dr. Ben Carson has been described as brilliant, but that is when he is operating in his lane. Politics is a new lane for this prominent surgeon and he is stumbling out of the gate. He has to learn how to command the conversation and not be defined by one issue. CNN Chris Cuomo had an agenda and Carson fell right into place. CNN got its soundbite and Carson is again labeled by one issue.

The man should stick with medicine. He certainly doesn’t know what he’s talking about when he gets outside of his expertise. I doubt he’s ever read the constitution, or studied constitutional jurisprudence. I’d let him operate on me, but I don’t think I’d want him to get anywhere near the White House.

Oddly enough SI, I actually agree with you-to a point. No, don’t go bouncing off the walls and looking for the coming of the apocalypse. I agree that Ben Carson is not experienced enough to be our president. He does not have the political savvy nor the executive experience. Besides, look at what happened the last time we elected an attractive black man with zero executive experience, zero military experience, no background building a consensus and not a clue as to how to deal with our enemies…. The White House is NOT a place for OJT.

Well, as they say, even a broken watch is right at least twice a day.😉

Yeah, Bush II was terrible wasn’t he? Though I think he had some executive experience, though his staff tended to cover for him….oh, and he wasn’t black….

elogam I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Dr. Carson’s experience. One does not ascend to the position of director of any medical department at a premier teaching hospital sans political savvy. That is an extremely political position. And I would dare say that the executive experience one garners in that role rivals pretty much any gained anywhere. But I do think he lacks the required experience needed for a political campaign which is akin to a two year long grueling job interview.
