QVC Hosts Mocks Model’s Hair

QVC hosts mock the model sporting her natural hair. They have since apologized but what this exposes is a lack of cultural awareness and that is the elephant in the room. The apology stems from the outcry but what does this actually solve? Share your thoughts.

I don’t know anything about the apology, but I feel this was more about bad timing rather than talking about the models hair. The two women were already talking about the bag and how “fashionable” it is,basically saying it will still be in style in 10 years, but let’s face it a lot of hairstyles are just trends for people and I think they were talking about their experiences. I honestly think, they would’ve said it, if the model was wearing her hair silky straight.

After seeing this, It didn’t sound like they were mocking the model’s hair at all, I thought they were talking in general. But then again I did see the expression on the model’s face. You could tell she felt offended. Anything is possible, who knows what went on behind the scenes. They may have been talking about her before the show. That shows you how out of touch some people are. That kind of hair style the model was wearing is very common and she was wearing that hair. I say she was looking fly! I loved her hair. So I say to the model to go one girl, hold your head up and don’t let nobody steal your thunder. LOL!
