Rashida Jones says “I’m ethnic” is that enough?

Obviously these carpet hounds have no idea about Rashida Jones’ heritage. She is the daughter of Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton. When asked about her tan she responded “I’m ethnic”. Was that an adequate response?

Sounds to me like yet another biracial person not being able to represent who they are with absolute pride and honesty.

Rashida said enough to me, my problem was with the female interviewer not doing her research. I could be wrong about the interviewer not doing her research and was just trying to make some kind of small talk. Rashida handled herself very well and it was enough for me.

I think it was enough. Rashida has stated in interviews that she identifies as Black. I think this white woman acting as if she just had a tan caught her of guard. That lady probably didn’t know she isn’t white.
