We see women fight on reality television everyday. Maury Povich and Jerry Springer have become millionaires from the fisticuffs that highlight their shows. Bravo’s housewives are no strangers to mixing it up, but when VH1 decided to take this concept to black sororities the reaction was swift. Roland Martin lead the charge in highlighting the advertisers and one by one the sponsors started to back off. Alpha Phi Alpha men populate my world, and I have too many relatives and friends to name who are members of black sororities so this show should never have seen the light of day, but it did and now it will receive the burial it deserves.
