I have a question; did President Obama know that he had submitted to the tutelage of an anti Semitic, black supremacist, America hating pastor when he attended Reverend Wright’s church for twenty years? I find that far more egregious than Scalise speaking to a white supremacist on one occasion.

Bill your point is valid but you make the point without addressing Scalise. President Obama association with Rev. Wright has been addressed over and over again. Does this situation trouble you?

President Obama’s situation might have been addressed but it obviously did not disqualify him for the highest political position in the land. Scalise’s situation bothers me no more than anyone who might harbor racists views if this is an indication of that. What matters to me is how I am treated irrespective of what one thinks of me relative to my race.

I ask the same question I asked concerning Bill Cosby. Did this happen today? Yesterday? Last week/month/year? No, this happened long enough ago that, had he enrolled a child in 1st grade on the way to attend this event, that kid would be graduating from high school now. This is old, irrelevant news. He says he didn’t know, he has apologized, and he has said he does not condone anything they stand for. What is even more troubling to me? President Obama goes to speak to La Raza-AS A SITTING PRESIDENT- and nobody from the left bats an eye. The double standard is atrocious.
