is everything fair in politics? Wendy Davis candidate for governor of Texas addresses her opponents disability. Did she go too far?
Desperate times call for desperate measures. This flash in the pan politician, who came to fame for staging a filibuster to a largely bipartisan bill that passed a few days later despite her efforts, is like the prom date you ask out on a whim, and then after you think about it realize it wasn’t a good idea in the long run. She will lose, provided her opponent isn’t found in bed with a “live boy or dead girl” to paraphrase a comment by a crooked Louisiana politician back in the ’20’s. Whether or not she will fade back into obscurity is the only question we have, and I hope she does. On the other hand, the Democratic Party needs to have an idea of what it means to have a Sarah Palin affiliated with their party. Davis is PERFECT for the roll.
