RHOA (Ratchet Housewives of Atlanta) & Bravo TV take a bow…an all time low

The ratings are high than ever for the RHOA. Who wouldn’t want to see black women in ball gowns brawling? I mean that’s good television. Last night we witnessed Kenya Moore being the antagonizing witch that she portrays. That is her role on the show. Porsha Stewart is the “dumb” deer in the headlights who is evolving into an opinionated member of the hive. Last night Stewart got sick of Moore and of course she got in her face and dragged her to the floor, and everyone on set was surprised? Please give me a break. Nobody was surprised. The host Andy Cohen dismissed Stewart from the set, and on Part 2 of the debacle next week Cohen says with a straight face that physical violence is not condoned, and won’t be tolerated, but if he and Bravo actually believed that would they have shown the footage? No they are all thrilled. Ratings are at an all time high and that’s the bottomline. It is about the dollar. Over the next two weeks the rest of the housewives and the wanabee housewives will snipe and insult each other and when the dust clears Bravo will decide who will be coming back next season. Last night Stewart either assured she will be on next week or she eliminated herself from the hive, but if they let her go please don’t pretend it was the fight that caused her to be eliminated from the show because Bravo will simply be lying. Cohen stoked the flame last night and watched the house go up in flames and that’s good television to some.

This whole episode was out of control and hard to watch. Andy and NeNe had everything to do with how this was going to play out. NeNe was behind this as well as the PJ party. She’s evil and most of them are jealous of Kenya beauty and real (hair). This is not a good look for some-what intelligent black women to act.

Cynthia, when this series started it was harmless fun. Sure the girls got catty, but they did not go straight up rachet. Bravo has learned ratchet equals ratings and they have created environments on the show (pj party & reunion) that they actually encourage this kind of behavior. Since ratings are up and if we keep watching we will see more of this. I think I’ve finally had my fill of NeNe and company. Last night was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
