It’s not surprising that Miley acted like an idiot. What is it with these young performers?? (They’re not singers; they just shout the lyrics.) One would never see the incredible Dionne Warwick, Doris Day, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como act this way. The problem is the “fans” who pay good money to see them perform this crassness.

Don’t assume the aforementioned artists didn’t have crassiness in them. They just kept their crassiness under wraps and there wasn’t the internet and developed technology to catch all their foul stuff. Dionne Warwick was a heavy smoker 9a trait her cuz Whitney picked up and just like Dionne jacked up her voice as a result along with drugs being a culprit) and ole blue eyes Frank ran with the Mafioso Goodfellas. Hmmm!!

That the aforementioned kept their crassness under wraps is just the point. During their era there was a quant concept called self-respect which guided ones public behavior. There was also an ancient concept from generations past which admonished women to behave as a lady. Is there anyone on this blog other than myself who remembers that archaic concept? It’s one that is rarely if ever even spoken of today much less practiced.

Virtually everyone engages in some speech or behavior at times which would be better kept private. Doing so is just exercising good judgment and self-respect.

I have to agree with the article. Cyrus has not indicated prior, the love of modern hip hop that would warrant this type of performance. Thus I can easily say that it’s for the money. Sad that the people who pay good money to see that, won’t see through it either.
