Why is The Bible a hit?

The mini-series the Bible was the most watched show on cable televsion this week. If people are turned off by God and religion what is the fascination? Share your thoughts.

What does it take to be a hit? 15 million viewers? With 320 million people in the country, and what? 80% self-identified as Christians, that seems like a very low turnout, not a hit. About 6% of all Christians if my math skills are still reliable.

        e. Go back and read what I wrote. All I said was that given all the potential interested and targeted viewers for the subject matter, is should be a Much.Bigger.Hit.
