One Reporter calls President “dick” and keeps his job, another reporter says Romney is comfortable around white folks and he loses his…what’s the difference?

Politico fired Joe Williams on Friday. Williams said on MSNBC a couple of weeks ago that he thought Mit romney was more comfortable around “white folks”. Now I believe that a company has a right to fire people if they violate their standards, but I can not help but remember last year Mark Halperin, Time magazine called the president a “dick” and he not only was not fired he was not even punished. Halperin made his comment on MSNBC and he did receive a 30 day suspension from them. My question is why is one offense a fireable one and the other one receives no punishment from Time magazine.
