Faith Without Works is Dead

As I listen to Sen. Obama I am filled with pride. He represents a viable candidate who also happens to be African-American. I love the fact that he talks about change and hope. He inspires crowds and people just feel good, but now is the time to get more specific. I believe in hope, but I want to know how are we going to facilitate change. It is time to start talking about the things that effect everyday Americans. The Bible says “Faith Without Work is Dead’. This new America is going to take real commitment and real work. Hopefully, the impressive crowds will actually vote in November and between now and then we will all know how we will take the concept of hope and make it applicable to the lives of all Americans.
