This weekend I got into a heated argument concerning domestic violence. I believe that if a man slaps you once you need to leave and not look back. The person I was discussing this with said that it could be a one time scenario and there should be discussion and possible forgiveness. So what do you think: one slap and out or is this time for discussion and possible counseling?

Low road attack GOP chairman compares President Obama to Capt. Schettino

This is what Chairman Priebus said yesterday on Face the Nation: “In a few months, this is all going to be ancient history and we’re going to talk about our own little Captain Schettino, which is President Obama who’s abandoning the ship here in the United States and is more interested in campaigning than doing his job as president,” Priebus said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” Priebus added the president is “fleeing the American people,” just like Schettino allegedly fled his cruise liner. The ship rolled onto its side in shallow waters off an island on Italy’s Tuscan coast on January 13. Seventeen people are confirmed dead and 15 people remain missing while Francesco Schettino is under house arrest and faces possible criminal charges of manslaughter, shipwreck and abandoning ship.
Following the jab, CBS host Bob Schieffer seemed caught off guard by Priebus’ comment, asking with a laugh: “What did you just say? What did you call President Obama?” Priebus was defiant in his response.
“I called him Captain Schettino, you know the captain that fled the ship in Italy,” Priebus said. “That’s our own president who’s fleeing the American people and not doing his job and running around the country and campaigning.”

Maryland First Lady Katie O’Malley is passionate about gay marriage passing in the Maryland legislature. So passionate that while appearing before a gay group yesterday she called those who did not support the legislation last session “cowards.” This drew applause in the room, but today she is apologizing for the statement. O’Malley said today “I let my feelings get the better of me.” “I deeply respect that there are strongly held and differing views on marriage equality in Maryland, but hope that our state’s elected officials will come together to fairly address this important issue for our families and children.” The fact is there are differing opinions on this issue within the state. President’s Sings “Let’s Stay Together”, and sales go up almost 500%

Chris Rock Reacts to Deception not Newt Gingrich

Here is the situation: Chris Rock is in Sundance promoting a film. Someone comes up to him and asks him to take a picture with him and his girlfriend when he turns around he is greeted by a camera in his face and a guy asking him a question about Newt Gingrich. Rock gets angry and destroys the guy’s camera, but the headlines today have started insinuating that Rock has a problem with Gingrich, but to me it looks like Rock has a problem with deception. Tell me what you think. Was Rock justified? Is this simply media generated nonsense?
