There does seem to be a certain resemblance. I doubt it’s intentional, but one never knows. Depends on who the producers are. Most of Hollywood likes Obama, but I imagine some with a religious background might not, and would find this to be a humorous way of showing their displeasure.
But who cares! The show’s not being watched by most of its target audience.
I think a dark-skinned depiction is uncalled for. Everyone knows Satan is a white guy in a Brooks Brothers suit. Or should. Maybe that’s a joke, but in truth Satan comes in the guise of a friend, and can easily sing with the voices of angels.
