MSNBC Toure spoke out regarding gun violence going on within the black community. He talks about the black on black violence that few want to acknowledge or discuss. We can not have an intelligent conversation without dealing with this very hard truth. Fear is what keeps people from telling on others. They have to live in the community and if they are identified as a “snitch”. Their lives and the lives of their families are in danger. Angela Dawson of Baltimore, MD and her entire family were killed in a house fire set by a drug dealer who was angry that Dawson had spoken to the police. So there is a reason to fear but if no one talks nothing changes and if nothing changes the death toll will go up.
