Dr. Ben Carson spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday. he addressed the crowd and spoke truth to power. His message has resonated but it is not a message that can be co-opted by the right or the left. it is simply the truth and the truth has no side. It is simply that–the truth.
You’re right; this message cannot be coopted by the right or left. But give it a few days and it will be characterized as insensitive, lacking compassion and can you believe maybe even racist? And from which wing do you think it will be emanating?
If the good doctor continues to speak out, he eventually will be muzzled. Look what the so-called “black leadership” did to Bill Cosby when he dared speak truth and demand people be held accountable.
