I don’t see any connection to race or racism in that comment. If there is some genetic connection of monkeys to Iranians perhaps there is a point. I agree with McCain; people should lighten up.
When you start taking up for the leader of Iran-and you don’t even have a dog in the fight- you’re either holding on too tightly, or you’re trying to score political points. Or both.
