Dr. West needs a haircut, a shave and some wardrobe diversification…….
So that’s the best you can offer, a commentary on his appearance? Nothing substantive or in reference to what he said? Of course, not. B/c that obviously can’t be refuted.
Translation: “I’m STILL awaiting that invite to the White House from Brother Obama!”
Let’s be clear, West started his rants against Obama when he was unable to acquire tickets and a prominent position in the first inauguration. It is no secret that he felt snubbed and I believe he harbors that like a touchstone. Why does anyone pay any attention to West? The fact that he tosses the race card at just about anyone who questions him makes him a victicrat, and therefore part of the problem instead of the solution. West cannot acknowledge that this is no longer 1955 in America. Although unemployment is at twice what it is for the rest of the nation, racially times have NEVER been better for people of color in America. Obama did not win re-election on the strength of the black vote. He had a very broad coalition and for West to ignore that, for him to insist that Obama act like a BLACK president (as opposed to being a black PRESIDENT) is evidence that he is not being sincere. Of course, if he were to acknowledge that race is not the problem it was when MLK was marching, that would mean West would have to do actual work and produce something to earn a living.
