Justin Timberlake married Jennifer Biel last week in Italy. One of his friends put together this “hilarious” video for him to show at his wedding. The video feaured homeless people offering their congratulations to the happy couple, and you know nothing is as funny as homeless people. (Sarcasm) Timberlake has published a letter of apology on his website, and he has also said that the video was not shown at the wedding. We can take his word for this, but my question is why would his friend think Timberlake would find this funny? Don’t your close friends know you well enough to know what you might think was funny? Well, in all honesty, many entertainers–including those in the Black Community- have gotten rich on the backs of those who are less fortunate, and, they too think seem to view the homeless and downtrodden as laughable.
