I have used a power nozzle such as shown to rinse photo machinery equipment to ensure that ALL the cleaning material was removed from the equipment .
Once upon a time (early 1960’s) at the Ohio State Union „ a cooking kettle had been cleaned but not thoroughly RINSED „ which left residual cleaning product on its inner surfaces .
The resulting taste of the meal later cooked and served is being description .
I still recall the event .

As an experiencedfood service manager who is still certified by the Serve Safe program I can assure you that the sprayer is not used at this point in the three sink system, and that bottle of soap sitting there is also on the wrong end. The first sink is to scrub and wash. The second sink is to rinse. That sink Ryan is in is the sanitize sink. The pans sit in a solution for a given amount of time and are then removed and air dried. They are not sprayed. They are not towel dried. They are taken out and left to dry. You can see items sitting there drying. You would never being scrubbing in that sink, or that close to drying items for that matter. This is a faked photo.
Who cares
It does matter. One has to ask what kind of person phoses for a phony photo in a soup kitchen. sure his handlers set it up but he could have said no to the photo and he didn’t. he lied about his marathon time and this photo is a lie too. A pattern of deceit.
Sorry EM, this photo is NOT a ‘lie’. His people called ahead, looking for a photo op. ALL politicians do this sort of thing. It’s like kissing babies. They got there and all the people had been fed already. They didn’t want to waste the trip so they asked him to ‘wash some dishes’. There’s some debate as to whether the dishes were clean or dirty, but I agree with Deloriadunlap. WHO CARES? HuffingtonPost and a few other papers focused on this, but what I’m reading is “blah blah blah, ignoring Libyan coverup blah blah blah so what four people died blah blah blah focus on something insignificant so we don’t have to focus on the president’s mess up”.

No it’s not pots and pans gate it is simply dishonest. Step away from the GOP talking points. Wait for the facts before you attack President Obama and his team.
