Stacey Dash Trashed on Twitter for supporting Romney…this is not right

If you are black and you don’t support the President you better be silent with your support. No, this is not the American way. In this country you have a right to your vote and you have a right to speak your mind. Stacey Dash tweeted support for Mitt Romney and the Twitter world went off. You should not have to turn your black card in for supporting Romney. I have supported the president since day one and on this blog I often have heated discussions with those who don’t, but I don’t question their intelligence or their choice. This is America and we do have a choice and we should in turn respect the choices others make.

    Three things.

    1. It’s FOX
    2. (At the risk of doing a Scott Brown) She’s black?
    3. Someone in Kenya said that if Obama had been elected President in that country, he would have have been their first white President.

    In other words…BFD

      1. it’s Fox, but the story has been reported all over and all accounts say the same thing. she was harrassed on Twitter after making her declaration.
      2. And yes “Senator” she is black we come in all hues.
      3. No comment.

Who is Stacey Dash, and why should her endorsement engender such a response?? It is just an endorsement, and she is not exactly an “A” lister with the gravitas to change minds. Yet, there is a furor over her?? This is pre-election madness.

They should just leave her be. She has a right to endorse anyone, including Big Bird.

I get flack for claiming to vote across the parties. I can’t imagine the flack one gets for supporting Romney. I too think we should respect people’s rights to vote for whoever they wish to vote for.

But the media thrives on conflict. And of course, the black folks who support Romney are a prime target. Sigh.

Black Americans. like other American of any color, should vote on their heart. If their heart is telling them, don’t vote for Obama, vote for Romney, then their vote shouldn’t be based on who is running that is black, but rather, who is running on the colorless values that encompass hope, love, truth and reality. If Romney, though he is white, is a BETTER choice for President of USA, then, this should be the reason to vote Romney. Anyone who votes for Obama, because Obama is black, is first, forgetting that Obama is half white, and as such, should ask themselves why a man who is half white, is running on the ticket of knowing anything about black American culture. Obamas’s mom was white. His dad was a NON American African American man. So, what the heck is that?
