American University Breastfeeds while teaching class…is this a big deal?
American University professor Adrienne Pine brought her sick baby to class because she did not want to cancel class. In the course of the 75 minute class Pine breast fed her child. Is this appropriate? Read the linked story and share your thoughts.

Not only is it appropriate, it shouldn’t be a story that any newspaper feels the need to report. It’s not news.
I guess in the US, a woman’s breast is only seen as “sexual” object instead. So when women breastfeed in public, it’s considered taboo instead of what it is. A loving, bonding experience between a woman and her child.
I WAS A SOJOURNER FOR 9 MONTHS IN A WOMAN’S BELLY. THEREFORE, FOR ALL PURPOSES MATERIAL, I LACK THE CAPACITY TO CRITICIZE PROFESSOR ADRIENNE PINE FOR NURTURING LIFE IN THE CIRCUMSTANCE BEING REPORTED.
