Former prosecutor Christopher Darden is accusing the late Johnnie Cochran of evidence tampering. Seventeen years after the verdict Darden is saying that he believes Cochran torn the lining of the glove so that it would not fit OJ Simpson. I remember the day of the verdict Darden broke down crying at the press conference. During the trial Darden was unfairly demonized for doing his job. Darden said “he wasn’t specifically accusing anyone, adding: “It’s been my suspicion for a long time that the lining has been manipulated.” that sounds like an accusation to me, but when you accuse a dead person of doing something they can not defend themselves against the accusation.
