Rep. Todd Akin released this ad asking the voters for forgiveness, and he should be forgiven, but that does not mean he is fit for office? The two things should not be linked, but he seems determined to continue his campaign in spite of losing key GOP support. It will be interesting to see how this thing ends. Will he be history by the end of the week or will he make history and be elected in November.

Todd Akin doesn’t need to ask for forgiveness imo, what he stated was fact. Most rapes are not actually rapes, they are simply attacks against the guys that the alleged-victim is jealous of and that is their only way to get back at the guy so they later claim rape on a situation that likely never even occurred.
Your statement is absolutely incredible. Rape does occur it is not always some vengeful woman trying to get back at a man. No means no and when someone violates no that is rape.
Statistically, the “no” come into play only after the women fail to get what they want so they later call to claim a rape. Happens everyday worldwide. That’s one of the many reasons only few are convicted of the charge of rape, at least in the USA.
