Well, let’s see. It’s a lie. The man leaves out very important facts…
Bain Capital actually gave the plant an 8 year lease on life. Had Bain not stepped in, the man would have found himself unemployed in 1993.
The plant closed TWO years after Romney left.
The plant offered this man a buyout. (Perhaps if the plant closed prior to Bain’s investment, he may not have been given a buyout at all).
The wife had her own insurance with her employer but was laid off. (Maybe it was their fault???)
Lastly, she died in 2006, five years after the plant closing. (not shortly after)
Shame on this man for using his wife’s tragic death by cancer for a political talking point, especially when it is deceptive. Shame on Obama’s team for not speaking out against it.
Lets face it, Obama can’t run on his record, so dirty politics it the weapon of choice. But hey. we get free birth control if Obama is elected again, that’s something to look forward to.
