Whether or not one chooses to believe that Governor Romney’s comments are truthful, I struggle to imagine that anyone could find anything about them disagreeable. What in that vision painted by Romney wouldn’t be embraced by members of groups of any ethnicity?
I suspect there are individuals who would not want to believe that those black folks in that ad were anything other than paid actors. They may very well be. But there are millions of blacks in America who are members of a silent minority who will quietly pull the lever for him behind that curtain on election day.
BILL, BY “SILENT MINORITY QUIETLY PULL THE LEVER FOR HIM BEHIND THAT CURTAIN ON ELECTION DAY”. DO YOU MEAN THE “BLACK-WHITES” ? THOSE DISAPPOINTED AND APOLOGETIC ABOUT THEIR BLACKNESS AND BLACK ACHIEVEMENTS? WELL, FROM HERE IN NIGERIA, I DO KNOW AS I HAVE READ THAT SOME JEWS PARTOOK IN IDENTIFYING FELLOW JEWS TO HITLERS HIT MEN FOR EXTERMINATION. SO I WON’T BE SURPRISED IF THERE ARE STILL BLACKS IN AMERICA THAT WISH THAT THERE WAS VIRTUE IN SLAVERY.
