When they talk about the Mitt Romney short list for vp sometimes Chris Christie’s name comes up, but not much lately. Wonder why? Could it be that he calls people stupid and idiot. Is this straight talk or simply straight up rude? Can you imagine a black politician acting like Christie and simply being viewed as passionate. No a black politicain would have been labeled as an “angry black man”, and he would not be on anyone’s short list for anything. Christie once said when he was asked about the show Jersey Shore that the cast were not from his state, he did not want to be connected to this group’s bad behavior, but it seems they might not want to be identified with the governor either.

I believe that Christie gets a pass for his bad behavior, and if a black politician blew up as often as Christie he would be called the angry black man. You don’t have to agree with my observation, and You don’t have to agree with my view of the world. This is a platform for discussion and there will not always be agreement, but there will always be discussion.
He likely won’t be around for a long time shooting off. He keeps it up, he’ll have a stroke or heart attack!
I live in New Jersey and i happen to like Governor Christie. He is brash, but he is getting the job done.
My opinion on this blog is simple. You are a race-baiter. You probably call honorable men such as Herman Cain, Alan West, and Kevin Jackson (another blogger) Uncle Toms.
In this case your opinion is wrong. I have never in the 4 years that I have been writing this blog called anyone an Uncle Tom. In this blog we do and we will discuss race and race related issues and that does not make me a race baited. If you don’t like the discussion feel free not to read.
RS, I have to disagree with you here. Musesofamom is generally fair in how she deals with conservatives, particularly black conservatives. I cannot ever recall her using “Uncle Tom” as a pejorative. She comments on bad behavior from all different sides, and would be just as likely to call out a black liberal as she would a black conservative. I’m not as active as I once was on this forum, but I tune in because she runs a civil island of discussion in a sea of harsh and profane rhetoric. Please stick around and read a few posts before you draw the wrong conclusions.
