Gay Oreo…what do you think?

No doubt where Oreo stands, but where do you stand. Should a company honor one group at the risk of offending another? Share your thoughts.

The makers of Oreo are doing what good businesses do: tapping into a demographic. Plain and simple.

I am not offended. Heck, I grew up with “two uncles”. Whatever. So I cannot say that I am offended. If I am an oreo eater, I’m an oreo eater. And if I find myself offended by something like that, I need to look at “inner-me”, and make sure I’m not covering up some personal issha.

But I think this is a business move. It’s gonna upset the fundamental evangelicals. I’m sure they’ve done their background homework behind it, and found it best to tap into a more recently tolerated demographic. $$$ is key here.

Other companies are watching this. And if it works out well, you know what’s up.

Oh please! Don’t be so picky. The cookie is normally Caucasian and Negroid.

    Offending another group?

What group does this run the risk of offending, except the narrow- and closed-minded ones?

Is it the group of heterosexuals? it will offend them?

What other group does it offend? Bigots? Who cares?
