Please tell me why do we need someone singing to us to convey a political message? Is there some rule that I am unaware of that says when you talk to black people there must be music and a set of wanna be Temptations on hand to punctuate your point? I speak English and in serious situations I would quote Dragnet and say “just give me the facts”. What you think about this commercial?
Is the We’ve Got Your Back commerical a little offensive?

What will it take for black folks to realize what this party thinks of them? This is condesdending and patronizing but they know yall gonna love it. I mean ain’t this what yall call soulful?
This add doesn’t just offend me it pisses me off. Why didn’t he make this commercial for the gays, considering he moved mountains to show them he’s got their back. Better yet the latinos, I mean he did just make it legal to break the law, and then be handed citizenship. I would honestly like to know what has Obama done to “have our backs” we all already know what we did for him. How has that support been any benefit to use though?
