Author Ed Klein calls Hillary Clinton “overweight” and why this is a big deal

The media loves a story and they don’t mind spinning a narrative to get one. Over the past few days the story has been that Hillary Clinton will run for president in 2016. Clinton has been a Senator and now she serves as Secretary of State. By most accounts Clinton’s friends and enemies consider her to be an accomplished, formidable woman capable of great things, but author Ed Klein said on Fox News today that she is not looking good and he went on to describe her as “overweight”. How often do you hear a male politicians dismissed for his weight? Chris Christie is probably the lone exception, and what if Clinton has put on weight does that diminish her brilliance? Most women I know battle weight from puberty to the grave and this is sad but in most cases true. It makes one think of the I Have a Dream Speech. Martin Luther King wanted his children judged by the content of their character and not by their skin color. The 2012 addition would also say and not by their size, but for women that is truly a dream.

Just as all money is green, and because money doesn’t know the color of the person holding it, I could care less how Hillary Clinton’s body looks as long as she could get the job done. Just maybe her mind is smarter than many other politicians simply because her mind might also be overweight as well. Who cares what Ed Klien says. He couldn’t win if he chose to run because he is too ugly, and of course we wouldn’t want such an ugly man being President. This country of idiots has become too obsessed with people, especially people who are considered heavy in weight. I walked through the cardiac wing of a local hospital and the majority of the people that I saw were small. Isn’t that something.

Sexism is easy, cheap and comes in many forms.

    This is just one more.

In our society, this is frequently overlooked, if not accepted, just as inequality for homosexuals is accepted and approved.

    Eh, Joni?

This is truly disappointing. I don’t understand why women are subjected to this standards but to some degree we do it to ourselves. We as women can be far more critical of each other then men can ever be of us. Hate to say it but it’s in some ways similar to how African American use the N-word but have a melt down when some one white uses it. Men being critical of a woman’s looks is considered sexist, what do we call women who are critical of a woman’s looks?

    —►IF◄—→ overweight , →—►THEN◄—→ a potential health problem.
