Eliot Spitzer or as he was affectionately called Client #9 resigned from office in disgrace. He was the governor of New York and he was caught up in a prostitution ring. That was a little over two years ago. Over the past year he has been on several of the cable channels as a political expert, but now he has a show on CNN with Kathleen Parker. Is this problematic to anyone? Is infamy the ticket to employment or is America simply just that forgiving?Tell me what you think and read the Parade magazine interview: http://www.parade.com/news/2010/10/03-eliot-spitzer-you-learn-more-by-losing-than-by-winning.html

I have news for you. He’s already been “resurrected”. Like it or not, he’s moved on and I think society has already, somehow, re-accepted him back into polite society.
Wierd.
I’m not saying he shouldn’t be forgiven or whatever already. I’m just saying that’s one of the fastest returns to society from disgrace I can remember. Usually the American public isn’t that forgiving–not by a long shot.

Seems interesting that Spitzer is back into good graces, but there are still people that want to hang Michael Vick. What gives here?
Eliot Spitzer vs Michael Vick
Spitzer’s crime boils down to having sex with prostitutes and ethic problems.
Vick’s crime is participating in the abuse/torture/mutilation/killing of innocent animals.
These are examples of why people still don’t want to forgive Michael Vick…. The photos are thumbnail size but be warned that they are graphic.
(Link removed-too graphic)
musesofamom,
I understand why you removed the link in my last message. The photos (Even as small as they are) were disturbing and that’s why I put the warning in the message before the link. Seeing photos like that again reminded me why I can’t forgive Vick.
