Editor Said No to Stimulus Monkey Cartoon and Was Fired
This spring the New York Post published an offensive cartoon depicting the author of the stimulus plan as a wild gorilla. Since the President was the author many including myself took offense to the cartoon. I wrote a post that asked who is in the room when decisions are made to publish this kind of thing? We have recently learned there were voices in the room saying don’t do it but they were silenced and ultimately fired. Read the story for all the details.
