Should Tavis Smiley be Held Accountable for Wells Fargo’s “Ghetto Loans”?

Tavis Smiley is a fan of accountability. Throughout last year’s election he stressed that we must hold Barack Obama accountable.  His latest book is named have this very important principle. So it stands to reason that he would be accountable for his own actions. Smiley partnered with Wells Fargo in 2005 in an effort to teach wealth building principles to the African-American community. Many of the participants in these seminars became the victim of the sub-prime loan tragedy that has devastated the black community.
