Straight Talk Express Leaves Skid Marks on Sarah Palin

What a difference a week makes. Last week we were on our way to the polls. After a brutal campaign it was finally time to vote. Sarah Palin seemed to relish her role as the attack dog. She said vile, hateful things about Barack Obama and she did it with a smile and a wink. She just got plain ole “mavericky”.  The bible talks about sowing and reaping, and it specifically says you reap what you sow. Putting it simply if you plant apples you get apples, you don’t get oranges when you plant apples. Palin is now on the reaping end of what she sowed. She planted hatred and misinformation and now she is on the receiving end of it. The McCainites, her former comrades are now doing everything possible to convince America that she is the reason they lost. They have painted her to be an ignorant, hillbilly moron whose only redeeming gift was the ability to deliver a great stump speech. She is now a woman in search of a microphone as she mounts her one woman PR offensive. John McCain has been silent up to this point. Maybe he might come to her defense tonight when he appears on the Tonight Show. Who knows, but it is hard to feel sorry for Palin because she is simply reaping what she sowed.

  1. Not only have I lost all respect for Palin—well I never had any to begin with really—but I am now rapidly losing respect for many of the folk interviewing her. I always thought of Greta van Susteren as a tough, inquisitive journalist. After watching most of the first part of her interview with Palin last night, I question my initial assessment of Greta. I was sitting there almost yelling at the TV. The only “tough” questions were about “Clothes-gate” and Greta didn’t even challenge the gaping holes in Mav Jr’s responses. (Such as, if you knew NOTHING about the purchase of these clothes, how is it that the stylists had the EXACT sizes and measurements for you and the 7 other members of your family who were outfitted??? I guess the RNC stylists were just psychic). Greta’s interview made me so sick that I will not be watching part 2. I’ve had enough of this whole “poor Sarah” attempted journalism that we are seeing this week. Let us not forget that this is the same “poor Sarah” who mocked Barack for being an author of 2 best-selling biographies, the same “poor Sarah” who said that community organizers have no “real responsibility”, who said that Barack “palled around with terrorists”, and the same “poor Sarah” who attempted to divide America into “real” and non-real parts. So forgive me if I don’t drink the haterade that Sarah Palin makes so astonishingly well!
