Oprah Says No to Sarah Palin

Oprah Winfrey is getting heat for not inviting Sarah Palin to be a guest on her show. The funny thing is she never planned on having her on the show. Erroneous news items have appeared saying there has been some kind of heated internal discussions among her and her staff about the possiblity. Oprah has denied this and said she would be delighted to have her on the show after the election. Why is this newsworthy? Part of the Republican strategy is to show there is true media bias against their ticket. The reality is Winfrey has already come out publicly for Barack Obama so why would she give Palin a platform on her show?  Yes, if she did have her on the show it would be a coup for the McCain camp, but it is not their right to appear on her show. That is the point it is her show and it is her right to choose the guests and in this case she says no to Palin.
