Don’t Believe “The Hype Effect” Movie
“A movement is sweeping the nation. Frenzied crowds gather in every state. Young people chant and sing. Women swoon. The result is record voter turn out and a rare political enthusiasm. At the head of this unprecedented phenomenon stands a charismatic figure intent on becoming the President of the United States.” This is the introduction on the web page for The Hype Effect Movie. What they have outlined is terrible. We have a candidate that has inspired: record turnout, enthusiasm and energized young people. This is someone that Americans need to fear and not cheer. That is what the makers of this movie want you to believe that Obama is scary. One of the contributors Dick Morris says “He is representative of the ultimate left of the Democratic Party.” What is most disturbing is to see Tucker Carlson and Joe Watkins delivering their ominous assessments of Obama. Both of these men are frequent panelists on MSNBC. We know that panelist have a preference but to see them as part of this video witch hunt is a little hard to swallow. This production comes to us courtesy of Citizens United Productions. They call this a documentary but there will be nothing fair and balanced about this film. It’s mission is character assassination and that’s what makes its so scary. Coming soon to a theater near you.
