Some things are as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning. The Republicans rely on fear to win elections. If they are behind it is time to talk terror. Today, John McCain said ,“I predict that they will make an attempt as we get in to the election season to make more of these spectacular kinds of attacks which they’re still capable of doing,” he said. “The suicide bombers, et cetera, would not surprise me and we’ve already found out that they’re going to try and step up their attacks and try and do things in a more spectacular fashion so that they can erode the support of the Maliki government.” Well since McCain is seen as the candidate that can best handle terror it is only logical that he should be elected. Wrong! He admonished his aid Charlie Black for bringing up the benefits of a terror attack a few weeks ago. Black said another terror attack would boost the chance of a McCain victory.  Now McCain pulls the terror boogie bear out of the closet again to scare the voting public. We have seen the politics of fear played out for the last 8 years and we see the horrific results. This year is the year of change and we will not be governed by False-Evidence-Appearing-Real.
