Barack Obama is running for president not Michelle Obama, and the Senator is tired of particular members of the press attacking his wife. In an interview with Glamour magazine he said. “It’s infuriating, but it’s not surprising, because let’s face it: What happened was that the conservative press—Fox News and the National Review and columnists of every ilk—went fairly deliberately at her in a pretty systematic way…and treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans. And I’ve said this before: I would never have my campaign engage in a concerted effort to make Cindy McCain an issue, and I would not expect the Democratic National Committee or people who were allied with me to do it. Because essentially, spouses are civilians. They didn’t sign up for this. They’re supporting their spouse. So it took a toll. If you start being subjected to rants by Sean Hannity and the like, day in day out, that’ll drive up your negatives.” Tonight, Hannity took the opportunity to invite Obama to appear on his show and he vowed he would say everything he has been saying to his face. I don’t think so. It is one thing to attack someone’s wife from a far, but you’ve got to be crazy to do it in his face, on second thought Sean Hannity might be crazy enough to do it.
Then Obama should keep his wife at home off the campaign trail making stupid comments like ” America is a mean country”! http://goodtimepolitics.com/2008/07/17/democratic-group-will-be-voting-for-john-mccain/

I don’t know, if that a##hole said things like that about my wife to my face, I’d have to deck him. I realize Barack is a better man than I, but still…

goodtimepolitics, why in the hell should Obama keep Michelle at home? I noticed people didn’t attack Bush’s wife by showing her consorting with Iranian terrorists! I notice people hardly ever mention McCain’s child bride! America is a “MEAN” country always quick to air other country’s dirty laundry while bitch-slapping the hell out its own and daring anyone else to say otherwise.
I look forward to witnessing Barack giving Hannity the tongue lashing of his life.

Saying that American is a mean country and that she has never been proud of her country until now to me shows just how much the Obama’s really care about this country. I a soldier were to say this he would be accused of treason. Thank about that people.

I’ll bet you do…
If Michelle can’t stand life in public, she shouldn’t want to be the first lady. What has anybody said about her that was so bad? She’s unpleasant? Well, that’s just the truth. Big deal.
