General Clark spoke last night at the Netroots Nation in Austin, Texas last night. He spoke about how his statements regarding John McCain were taken out of context and used to crucify him. He said,”Someone said to me ‘This is a playbook operation by the right wing freak machine, the great freak show where they take a statement, distort it, blast it out of context and make it personal. They are so good at it they did all three steps in three hours and you fought back and I’m grateful for you from the bottom of my heart.” As we all know McCain was a prisoner of war and his military service can not be criticized, but it can be used to justify why he is qualified to be the president. Wesley Clark has since distanced himself from the Obama campaign but he never wavered and he meant what he said. He learned the hard way that the freak machine takes no prisoners it is out to kill.
