Crossing the Clintons Will Cost You
The dust is starting to settle. The 5 stages of grief are almost complete, and now the sixth stage begins. The sixth stage is revenge and that is where the Clintons are now. Throughout their years in public service they helped a lot of people. Some of these people were members of President Clinton’s cabinet, some were beneficiaries of ambassadorships and some simply got some of the best jobs in Washington. Washington is a you scratch my back I scratch yours kind of town. Well, the Clintons still have an itch that did not get scratched, and they are not happy about it. The enemies list ranks people in accordance to their treacherous deeds. “As the Obama bandwagon has swelled, so have the lists of people Clinton loyalists regard as some variation of “ingrate,” “traitor” or “enemy,” * The frightening thing about this is President Nixon kept a list and the fall of his presidency is well-documented. The fact is it is normal to be hurt when friends and colleagues disappoint you, but you can not control the actions of others, and you should not let it consume you. What the Clintons need to do is move on. Sen. Clinton’s political career is far from over, but if she and her husband spend their time plotting revenge on ingrates, traitors and enemies they will never move out of the final stage of grief-revenge.
