Sen. Clinton It Is Time to Listen to Your Friends

There are more and more calls for Sen. Clinton to step out of the race. She has vowed that she will not drop out, as she likes to say “I am in it to win it.”  The numbers don’t lie.  It would take a cataclysmic event to happen for her to secure the nomination.  It is understandable that Sen. Clinton would not base her actions on the will of  Sen.Obama’s  supporters or on the suggestions of the media talking heads, but she needs to listen to someone.  Yesterday one of early and staunchest supporter Sen. Dianne Feinstein said this,  “I, as you know, have great fondness and great respect for Sen. Clinton and I’m very loyal to her.  Having said that, I’d like to talk with her and [get] her view on the rest of the race and what the strategy is.” Feinstein went on to say “I think the race is reaching the point now where there are negative dividends from it, in terms of strife within the party. I think we need to prevent that as much as we can.”  When your own supporters start questioning your motives and tactics it is time to re-think the situation.  The Democrats have got to get themselves positioned for the fall and the longer this drags out the more difficult that will become. Everyone needs someone in their life who can let them know when they are going off the rails. Sen. Clinton seemingly has people like that in her life and now is the time for her to listen to them.
